Grilled tofu and red pepper bites

If you think that looking after yourself means having to be boring, then this recipe will change your mind! These tasty tofu bites are perfect for pairing with Sangre de Toro Rosé 0.0, for a vegetarian aperitif that will have even non-veggies going back for more. Cheers!

    Roast the red pepper in the oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes, until it can be peeled easily.

    Once roasted, peel the pepper and remove the seeds. Then cut it into long, even strips and season with oil and salt.

    Cut the tofu into blocks and cook in a grill pan until golden.

    Now it’s time to put it all together! Wrap the tofu in the red pepper strips and secure using a toothpick.

    Next, thread black olives and basil leaves onto the toothpick, alternating them as you go.

    Finally, season with a bit of black pepper and oil.

    Repeat steps 4 to 6 until you’ve used up all the ingredients, and then enjoy your grilled tofu and red pepper bites with a glass of Sangre de Toro Rosé 0.0!
