Roasted chicken skewers

This chicken skewer recipe will be the standout appetizer at your next dinner party. Because besides being tasty, it’s original, like the Sangre de Toro it’s paired with, and great for occasions when it’s all about sharing. We’ll toast to that!

No need to worry about breaking into a sweat with this recipe – it’s so easy, the only thing that will get hot is your oven, which should be preheated to 180°C.

  • 2

Place the cubes of chicken in a bowl and add the paprika, ground cumin, turmeric, dried parsley, crushed garlic, a bit of olive oil, and salt and pepper to taste.

  • 3

Stir so the spices combine into the chicken and then leave to marinate in the fridge for 15-20 mins.

  • 4

Wash the vegetables and chop into small cubes.

  • 5

Now it’s time to assemble the skewers! Alternate the vegetables and chicken however you want. Just remember to leave 2-3 cm from the end of the skewer so you can hold it.

  • 6

Once all the skewers are ready, arrange them on an oven tray and sprinkle a little oil and salt on top.

  • 7

Bake at 180°C for 30-35 mins.

  • 8

After 15 mins, turn the skewers over so all the ingredients turn golden on all sides.

  • 9

When they’re ready, the last thing to do (if you haven’t done it already) is to open a bottle of Sangre de Toro Original. Cheers!
