Steamed mussels

Guess what? It only takes 5 ingredients to make this amazing dish. Because when you use good products – like mussels and our Sangre de Toro Blanco – a simple recipe is the best way to enjoy them. So, let’s get cooking!

    Important! Before you start, be sure to clean the mussels well. Remove any impurities from the shells using a knife under running water.

    When the mussels are nice and clean, place 4 tbsp of water in a pot. Add the mussels, the bay leaf, a slice of lemon, and a glug of oil.

    Put a lid on the pot and turn on the heat.

    After 7-8 mins, check whether the mussels have opened. This means they’re ready!

    Turn off the heat, drain the liquid from the pot, and serve the mussels.

    Finally, uncork a bottle of Sangre de Toro Blanco to accompany this recipe.
